Jarrett Baker

Jarrett Baker has been around the world of nails his entire life. He spent hours in his mother’s salon, getting into all her products and experimenting after school. Fast forward 10 years and Baker has now completed school to become a licensed nail technician in his home state of Oregon, is an award winning nail artist, and an EzFlow educator. As a student Baker entered into the competition arena and placed in the top 10 in four out of the five events he entered, as well as took home a 3rd place trophy in the novice division. Baker was also a contributor to the team score and helped EzFlow win the 2015 NAILPRO Cup team trophy. This past year Baker has been competing again with EzFlow on the way to a second team trophy and has been in the top 10 multiple times. Most recently at Premier Orlando Baker received a 1st place trophy for French Twist in the Novice division, bumping him up to the Veteran division moving forward. Looking forward Baker plans to continue his training as much as possible while continuing to compete as well.

Nikki Payton

Nikki Payton is a top nail competitor and an accomplished nail tech at Nail It Pro Nail Studio in her hometown, Medford, Oregon. She attributes her success to her passion for the industry and her mentor of 10 years, EzFlow Global Brand Ambassador, Allie Baker. From the first time she applied a set of drugstore, press-on tips at age 10, Payton knew that nails were her calling. After receiving her license in 2006, she sharpened her skills at the Nail It Pro Nail studio owned by Baker, absorbing knowledge and techniques from Baker and the community of nails techs at the studio. She began competing as a novice in 2012 and quickly rose through the ranks of the national nail competitions, competing for the first time as a veteran in 2015. Her contribution to the 2015 EzFlow competition team helped them secure their first win. Although the days and hours spent preparing for competitions are exhausting, Payton says she loves competing for EzFlow because it challenges her to “think creatively and execute precisely.” Her infectious drive to excel and dedication to the craft has been an inspiration to other aspiring nail techs.
